Hearing loss is a natural occurrence that most people will experience at some point in their lives. You can be born with it or it can happen suddenly or gradually over time. The two most common causes of hearing loss are due to the natural aging process and noise exposure. Fortunately, with the current modern technology and the assistance of an Audiologist, we are able to help in 95% of cases where people experience hearing loss.

At Kirsten McLeod Audiology, my goal is to help you or a loved one overcome the many challenges faced when there is a hearing loss present. I want to make sure that you are fully able to communicate freely, interact naturally and participate actively, despite having a hearing impairment.

I believe that if we address ALL the factors affecting and/or contributing to your hearing difficulties, we can improve the way you hear, communicate and interact in all of your listening environments, be it at home, at work, at a restaurant or shopping mall. I want you to be able to communicate optimally without allowing your hearing difficulties to hinder your abilities.
